Keadaan Politik Semasa Tidak Izinkan TG Nik Aziz Berundur Lagi.
Dato' Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, Menteri Besar Kelantan semalam berkata, keadaan politik semasa masih tidak membolehkan beliau untuk melepaskan jawatan yang disandangnya selama lebih 18 tahun.
Nik Abdul Aziz menegaskan, beliau tidak akan menunggu lebih lama dan tidak teragak-agak melepaskan jawatan sekiranya ada desakan dikalangan ahli PAS agar dirinya berundur kerana beliau juga sudah lama berhasrat untuk berundur atas faktor kesihatan tetapi beliau tetap mengutamakan kepentingan perjuangan parti.
Beliau mengulas laporan kononnya ada kalangan pemimpin Pas yang mahukan Nik Abdul Aziz yang juga Mursyidul Am Pas berundur tetapi tidak berani menyatakan secara terbuka.
Soal beliau bakal berundur dan siapa bakal penggantinya sudah beberapa kali mencetuskan isu termasuk semasa pilihan raya umum Mac lalu.
Sekarang ini tidak timbul lagi kesukaran bagi Pas mencari pengganti tetapi beliau tidak akan menyebut siapa yang bakal mengambil alih kelak.

KOTA BARU, Nov 25 – Kelantan Menteri Besar, Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, said he “can’t wait to” relinquish his post if Kelantan Pas state assemblymen asked him to do do.
“If Pas people tell me to step down, I’ll step down this evening,” he told reporters here today when asked to comment on a report in a weekly paper that several state assemblymen from the party wanted him to step down “in his glory days” and give way to younger leaders in the party to lead the state government.
According to the Mingguan Watan report, the group of assemblymen wanted Nik Aziz, who they felt was old and faced health problems, to prepare a power transition plan urgently as many a time important meetings for a swift state government decision had to be postponed as he was in hospital.
Nik Aziz, 77, who has been menteri besar since 1990, said till now no such call had been made to him directly.
He said if the persons who made such a suggestion were not brave enough tosay it to him directly, they should shut up.
Nik Aziz said he held the menteri besar’s post due to the insistence of Pas members who wanted him to continue to helm Kelantan.
“They don’t let me step down,” he said.
Asked about his successor if he relinquished the post, Nik Aziz said: “I may have a candidate but how can I say who it is.”
He said he left the issue of a successor to the party. – Bernama
